Deniliquin Children’s Centre has a new name - River Region Early Education.
We are excited to begin 2024 offering the same services under a new name that is inclusive of everything we do and everywhere we work - both within and outside Deniliquin.
“It was evident that the name 'Deniliquin Children's Centre' did not represent all of our services or the towns and communities we service." stated Board Chair, Emily Small. "We currently provide childcare and preschool not only in Deniliquin but in Pretty Pine, Wanganella, Blighty, Bunnaloo and Barham”.
The name change was brought forward following the integration of Barham Early Learning Service to the organisation in April 2023. Through consultation with the community, it was decided to retain the core elements of our exisiting branding, including our paddling duckling logo.
Our joyful duckling captures children’s sense of awe and wonder and reflects that freedom to play and learn is at the core of our curriculum. The ripple pattern behind the duckling reflects the impact of intentional early childhood education which stays with children as they grow, spreading throughout their life like ripples across the water.
The new name will be implemented in branding such as signage, uniforms and communications from January 2024. The core business remains the same.

"Deniliquin Children’s Centre was created in 2000, and this name has served well for the past 23 years. The name River Region Early Education will take us into the future - hopefully for the next 20 years and beyond”.

Es muy inspirador conocer la evolución de River Region Early Education y su compromiso con ofrecer educación infantil de calidad en las comunidades rurales. El nuevo nombre representa mejor su crecimiento y la diversidad de servicios que brinda. También me parece hermoso el simbolismo del patito y las ondas del agua, que recuerdan el significado de los números y cómo cada etapa puede influir positivamente en nuestro desarrollo.
