We are so excited to tell the story about our new logo!
Anthony Smith from Visattak and Sivonne Binks worked with us to create a logo inspired by our early childhood education philosophy.
Freedom to play, explore, learn and be adventurous is at the core of our curriculum. Our new logo is a joyful duckling paddling in the sunshine across the Gorman Park lagoon and evokes children’s sense of awe and wonder.
The wide-open plains of Deniliquin and surrounding country communities, on the land of Wamba Wamba and Perrepa Perrepa people, is where we call home. We celebrate natural learning environments in all-weather, so our new logo embraces nature and, like our services, is shaped around our local rivers and lagoons.
We know that children who are nurtured to grow and learn will be the richness and beauty we all wish to see in the world. The logo reminds us that the impact of collaborative, holistic and intentional early childhood education stays with children as they grow, spreading throughout their life like the ripples across the water.
We recognise that it takes a village to raise a child and that generations of children and families have grown through our centre. We share this new branding with you, our vibrant, knowledgeable and robust community, in the hope that it inspires future generations to continue to install the love of learning that gives each child the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Anthony and Sivonne worked with us to include the new branding throughout the centre, creating our new website, designing our way-finding and service signage, creating illustrations of animals and fish for room names and creating our concrete river.
