Deniliquin Children's Centre Preschool is hosting internationally renowned lecturer in Early Childhood Development, the Primitive and Postural Reflexes and Sound, Brendan O'Hara.
Children will be particpating in sessions throughout the week.
A Professional Learning day for educators will be held on Saturday 24th June, 9-4pm.
Families are also offered a special session with Brendan focused on parents on Thursday 22nd June, 2023 5.30-8.30pm.
These sessions will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about getting children moving to keep them happy, healthy and developing!!
Key concepts of the workshop include
Behaviour/s- techniques to bring children to a state of calm
Bringing rhythm back into our beings to enhance self-regulation
Overview of the Primitive and Postural Reflexes
Targeting the Moro (fight/flight) reflex and the ATNR
Early Childhood Development- from birth-walking to beyond’
The importance of rolling, crawling and how these can impact our learning, coordination, hand eye coordination and more Improving socializing
