Celebrating Our Early Childhood Educators

Today, on Early Childhood Educators’ Day, we celebrate and thank the incredible educators who make River Region Early Education what it is.
At RREE, we know that being an early childhood educator is so much more than a job. Our educators are skilled, knowledgeable and dedicated professionals who make hundreds of decisions every day to support children’s safety, wellbeing, learning and development.
They build trusting relationships. They create environments where children feel safe, secure and valued. They notice the small things, respond to individual needs, plan meaningful learning experiences, support families and advocate for children.
Most importantly, child safety sits at the heart of their practice. Our educators understand the enormous trust families place in us when they leave their children in our care. They take that responsibility seriously—listening to children, respecting their rights and voices, remaining vigilant, and continually reflecting on how we can make our services safer and stronger.
This year’s Early Childhood Educators’ Day theme is “The Future Starts With Us!” We see that every day at RREE. The relationships, experiences, encouragement and sense of belonging our educators provide today help shape the confident, capable and connected people children become.
