Leanne Wall began her journey with Deniliquin Preschool in 2001 as a teacher. Over more than 25 years, Leanne has contributed to the service in a range of roles, including Teacher, Nominated Supervisor, and now Educational Leader and Teacher. Throughout this time, she has nurtured countless young children, supporting their learning, wellbeing and development during the critical early years.

Leanne’s superpower is her relationships. She engages with children in a kind, warm and genuinely nurturing way, creating a strong sense of belonging, safety and security, aligned with Quality Area 5 – Relationships with Children. She welcomes families into the preschool community with care, respect and open communication, reflecting Quality Area 6 – Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities.

As Educational Leader, Leanne plays a key role in guiding reflective practice, supporting continuous improvement, and embedding high-quality, child-centred pedagogy across the service. Her leadership strongly reflects Quality Area 7 – Governance and Leadership, and her commitment to best practice continues to enhance educational outcomes for children.
