River Region Early Education (formerly Deniliquin Children's Centre) has opportunties for entry level trainee positions at our Barham and Deniliquin services.
During the 18 month traineeship you will work, study and learn on the job, to attain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.
This is an entry level position for someone who is interested in a career in early childhood education. It would suit
a person who wants to work in early childhood education permanently, either a young person who has finished their schooling or someone who is re-entering the workforce OR
a person seeking to gain a nationally recognised qualification which they can use for employment while they complete other study or training.
This is a full time (38 hours per week) over 5 days per week position. Our trainees are provided with 3 hours study time each week, and all work placement is completed on the job. The training provider is ECTARC (Early Childhood Services and Training) and the mode of study is online with workplace visits by the assessor. River Region Early Education has supported many, many trainees to complete their Certificate III and go on to a successful career in Early Childhood Education.
