The new entrance to the Deniliquin Children’s Centre has a river filled with local fish and aquatic animals.
The design was developed by Sivonne Binks and Anthony Smith (Visattak) in consultation with Yarkuwa and brings the surrounding environment of rivers and lagoons right into the centre.
Several of the animals are endangered and are nurtured as part of the nearby Deniliquin Lagoons Restoration Project.
Each animal has their Wamba Wamba name and their English name.
